You have big ambitions.

And then you have your standards… the level at which you’re willing to operate to earn a living, etc.

But answer me this: Are your current standards leading to the fulfillment of those big ambitions?

I hope you said yes. I bet most people said no.

So overcoming that gap is what today’s #TomFerryShow is about… 3 ways to raise the bar on your standards so you can achieve what you really want in life.

And it all boils down to one word: Accountability.

I’ve got three ways you can add the accountability you need to achieve your goals!

Let’s dig in!

Accountability Hack No. 1: Get Your Goals Up & Visual

What happens when you create a goal but you don’t tell anyone?

Nothing! There are no consequences. Only you knew about it, and you might’ve sorta doubted yourself anyway, and you obviously weren’t fully committed because you didn’t take action… so there’s very little pain associated with failing to achieve that goal. You simply move on.

Accountability is about creating that painful consequence.

And one of the easiest ways to do it is to make your goals visible to the world.

When you put your goals “up and visual,” you’re announcing your intentions to people who matter most to you – family, friends, colleagues and even strangers.

And by doing so, suddenly you’ve created a consequence because you don’t want to look like a failure in the eyes of these important people in your life.

To make this approach even stronger, post a sign next to your scoreboard that says something to the effect of, “Ask me about my 90-day cycle.”

Then see how much more action you’ll take as a result of this bold declaration.
