Training Support Specialist

The Training Support Specialist (Sales Enablement Specialist) will be responsible for ensuring the sales organization is well-equipped with the support, information, content, training, and knowledge of available resources, and core curriculum necessary to effectively sell Tom Ferry Coaching current and new programs and service offerings.

The successful candidate will have the creativity and original thinking to proactively identify new and different approaches to aid the Sales Enablement Manager in developing a successful program and measure its effectiveness.

The ideal candidate is a high energy individual with an analytical approach to problems and the ability to use technology in an efficient way.  Success in this role requires a team player approach, extraordinary organizational and project support skills, and the ability to work across teams.

This position is remote, but candidates MUST live in CA, TX or WA. Your application will be rejected if you are not located in one of these states. 

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Support the overall goals of the sales team.
  2. Assist in creating impactful student and instructor materials (presentations, course outlines, background material, instructional materials, exercises, training aids, quizzes and assessments, will be using Lessonly to manage new training content).
  3. Assist in the development of sales campaigns and sales tools requirements, supporting project development including but not limited to: creating and packaging high-value, easy-to-use sales tools (sales guides, training decks, presentations, demos, collateral, calculators, competitive matrix, etc).
  4. Provide feedback in the development and management of measurement systems to ensure that the content created for sales is optimized for effectiveness and measured and managed for efficiency.
  5. Collect feedback from won and lost pursuits and internal sales org on effectiveness of tools and continuously work to improve the quality of content, format, and delivery.
  6. Establish and regularly report metrics on content effectiveness & utilization.
  7. Support the sales onboarding program and ongoing sales training (Coaching Sales + SDRs)

Experience:

One to two years of prior training support experience.

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Tech Savvy
  • Analytical thinker
  • Salesforce experience is a huge plus.
