Marketing Analyst

Tom Ferry is looking for a seasoned Marketing Analyst. In this role, you will apply your expertise in marketing analytics to deliver and manage marketing ROI dashboards. In addition, you will aid in developing key insights across campaign results, lead management and our customer database to assure their success, while tracking metrics and making recommendations to optimize, improve and change business results. Must be passionate about data visualization as a means to communicate in concise and compelling ways. Provide insights for a range of marketing activities (campaign ROI, attribution, LTV, and demand pipeline reporting) but help to scale the analytics and insights abilities of the organization as a whole.

Job Description:

  • Work with Marketing leadership to define, create, and maintain standardized dashboards and supporting diagnostic reporting to be used cross functionally. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Participate in the development and refinement of key performance indicators
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting requests and analysis to help evaluate marketing initiatives to demonstrate impact and ROI.
  • Work with the team to identify process inconsistencies and improvements. Aid in the solution design, documentation and ongoing maintenance of marketing processes, such as lead importing, and event follow up.
  • Responsible for marketing data integrity. Provide guidance on proper data entry and formatting. Conduct systematic data cleanup initiatives.
  • Drive adoption and usage of reporting and metrics across the Marketing organization


  • BA in Marketing, Business, Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics, with at least 2 years’ experience in Marketing Analytics (B2B and/or B2C)
  • Demonstrated track record of creating and delivering insights and recommendations using marketing analytics that have driven change and moved the needle positively in business performance.
  • Strong skills, Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, vlookups) and Tableau.
  • Hands on experience with web analytics tools, Google Analytics preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of contemporary database marketing technologies and best practices through both digital and non-digital channels.
  • Proficient knowledge of customer segmentation, data mining, marketing automation (Marketo), CRM (SalesForce) automation processes and tools and best practices.
  • Track record working on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel.
  • Capable of completing day-to-day work with little instruction and general instructions on new assignments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and be goal orientated to accomplish tasks.
