ERP Administrator

The ERP Administrator is responsible for deploying and supporting the NetSuite production environment.  The Administrator also works with the end users, tests and adds updates to the system and incorporates necessary changes. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Partner with the business users to understand their processes and support their optimized use of NetSuite
  2. Direct post go-live optimizations and follow-up on development efforts
  3. Primary point of contact for application support managing any escalations to NetSuite support
  4. Manage user access and maintain proper system access/roles/rights
  5. Support user requests for new searches, reports, KPI’s and dashboards
  6. Plan, review, and manage change configurations, customization, and 3rd party integration requests
  7. Fully document existing and new customizations and workflows
  8. Develop, test, and deploy application extensions using system API and 3rd party tools
  9. Manage NetSuite integration with internal and external systems
  10. Ability to create scripts and workflows to meet business requirements 
  11. Develop, test, and deploy NetSuite customizations and new functionality based on changing business needs 
  12. Manage business process testing for ongoing NetSuite upgrades
  13. User Training (Process/Systems)
  14. Monitoring the health of NetSuite processes 

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s Degree; or three to five years’ experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certified Netsuite Administrator.

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Project Management
  • Business Analysis
  • Solid experience in change management and Business Process Mapping in support and / or in conjunction with a major IT initiative
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Computer Skills

  • NetSuite administration, customization, and integration expertise  
  • MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint) expertise
  • Working knowledge of and experience using XML, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employee of organizations.

Mathematical Skills

Calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, statistical equations and probability equations.  Interpret and apply statistical and probability tables and graphs. 

 Planning and Organization

Handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Physical Demands 

This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities:  reaching, sitting, lifting (≤25 pounds), finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. 

Work Environment

Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.

The office work environment is boisterous.  Attire is business casual.
