E- Learning Product Manager


Tom Ferry is looking for an extraordinary individual to fill the brand-new E-Learning Product Manager.

We are excited to launch an exciting, new offering that will allow our clients to access the Tom Ferry content that they crave in a self-paced, on-demand format. This involves both repackaging existing content and creating brand new subject manner to benefit our clients. Content will live in a variety of formats, ranging from videos to courses to interactive assessments.
We are currently building out a team to support this new business line and feel that this is a unique, highly differentiated product in the marketplace. Having the right people is critical to the launch and success of this product.

This role will act as the central hub within the organization owning the information about the product, market, competitors, customers, prospects, key industry analysts, etc.
You will own the evolution of the product roadmap, including, but not limited to our Ferry Learning System, and interact with a broad range of stakeholders and departments to ensure your products’ success.

• Own all aspects of Product Management including: cross-functional team collaboration, product roadmap and prioritization and sprint planning.
• Be transparent about your prioritization and roadmap process.
• Work with engineering team to develop products that meet the requirements, understand the constraints, and recognize the risk.
• Work with our marketing and coaching services department to categorize, tag, and package both new and existing content into a consumer-packaged format.
• Continuously plan for and release new content in conjunction with fellow team members.
• Act as a product expert and technical resource by performing demos and providing support for product.
• Facilitate communication between client stakeholders and development team members.
• Work with third party vendors to explore license agreements, from both business and technological standpoints
• Be able to say “no,” but explain why in terms that stakeholders understand.
• Be a ruthless prioritizer while balancing the needs of customers and stakeholders.
• Bring new features to market based on customer feedback and market requirements.
• Continuously talk to customers to gather feedback and market intelligence.
• Work in an agile environment with epics and user stories to plan and deliver new features & functionality.
• Work with other members of the team to establish pricing and go-to-market strategies
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

• 3+ years product management experience
• 2+ years experience using an LMS (Moodle preferred)
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with Captivate/Articulate/Storyline or equivalent
• Experience with visual design principles including images, graphics and video
• Ability to pick up technical and business concepts quickly
• Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills with a strong attention to detail
• Team mentality to do what’s best for the product and customers
• Strong motivation, resourcefulness, and work ethic; be able to self-manage
