Director - Business Development

The Business Development role will be individually responsible for driving strategic initiatives with clients including booking private speaking engagements, driving new sponsorship programs and growth of existing sponsorship relationships. This role requires a highly strategic, team-oriented, and organized individual with a proven track record of sourcing, closing, and executing. In addition, this individual will work closely with Account Management and Support teams to ensure that Tom Ferry is delivering exceptional service and support to our customers. This individual will be highly motivated, self-starter who can drive revenue while gathering the intelligence needed to shape company strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Responsible for selling, managing, coordinating and facilitating sponsorship for all TF events.

2. Responsible for selling, managing, coordinating and facilitating TF private events.

3. Identify opportunities to partner with strategic vendors and partners .

4. Inform current and potential partners about key business developments.

5. Manage existing partnerships.

6. Develop and organize new business development initiatives.

7. Oversee department budget.

8. Collaborate with marketing department to ensure proper branding.

9. Maintain fruitful relationships with strategic partners and address their needs effectively.

10. Research and Identify new market opportunities.
